White flowers bloom from July to Sept. These woolly plants reach heights of 30 - 90 cm.
Dried flowers retain shape and are used in dried floral arrangements.
Larval host plant for the Painted Lady butterflies.

Dry, sun to partly shaded conditions, drought tolerant, poor soil.
