Up to 1 m tall, this aster produces white flowers with yellowish-red to purple centers. Blooms from
August to October.
White wood aster provides nectar to butterflies and bees.
Species is considered threatened in Ontario due to habitat loss and degradation, the spread of
invasive Garlic mustard, and consumption by deer and weevil.

 

Growing conditions:

Part sun; dry well drained soil.
